Aspen LiDA

Aspen LiDA is a free mobile app that connects library patrons to the Lake Park Public Library’s full catalog, including physical and digital materials, all in one place. Available on iOS and Android, the app lets patrons search for books, movies, and games; place holds; renew items; manage linked accounts; and access their digital library card. Patrons can also track their reading history, create lists, and receive notifications about due dates and holds. 

Brainfuse HelpNow

HelpNow offers live tutor access for homework help, skills building, and test preparation, where, after taking a quiz, the user can connect directly to a live tutor from the test center. They help K-12, higher education, and adult learners. Also included is Barron's, containing study guides on standardized college tests, AP classes, American government, biology, ESOL, geometry, calculus, writing, French, and Spanish. Live tutors are available between 2:00 PM and 11:00 PM EDT.

CloudLibrary

A digital lending platform that enables library patrons to access a wide array of digital content, including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, comics, and streaming videos, through a single app.

Hoopla

A digital media service provided by Midwest Tape that allows patrons to borrow a wide range of digital content, including eBooks, audiobooks, comics, movies, music, and TV shows. Hoopla also has a Binge Pass, allowing a patron to check out a season of TV or curated sets of movies. The last week of every month, Hoopla has Bonus Borrows to give patrons close to their borrowing limit more content to enjoy.

Kanopy

Kanopy is a free, ad-free streaming platform. It offers a curated collection of over 30,000 films, including classic cinema, independent films, documentaries, foreign films, and educational content. Kanopy also features a dedicated section for children's programming, known as Kanopy Kids, offering unlimited access to age-appropriate content.

Libby

A free app developed by OverDrive that allows patrons to borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines from the Lake Park Public Library using their library card. Available on iOS, Android, and web browsers, Libby offers features like offline access, customizable reading settings, and the ability to send eBooks to Kindle devices. Libby also features automatic returns and no late fees, it's a convenient way to enjoy digital reading and listening anytime, anywhere.

Mango Languages

Mango Languages is a language learning app of over 70 languages from common languages such as Spanish, French, and ASL to less known languages such as Hawaiian. Building from six critical skills necessary for true language, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, culture, comprehension, and retention, this app will provide what library patrons need to learn to speak a language fluently.

Tech-Talk

Tech-Talk is a weekly technology-focused e-newsletter  and database of webinars designed for the professional development of non-tech professionals. It introduces fresh ideas and ways to use technology to help patrons work more productively and communicate more effectively.
