Park Avenue Downtown District (PADD) public workshop
More than 100 community members gathered at Town Hall on Saturday, April 26, for the Park Avenue Downtown District (PADD) public workshop. This session was part of an ongoing study conducted by the Town’s consultant, Kimley-Horn, to assess the area’s historical and current conditions, as well as identify strengths and opportunities for future development.
The workshop allowed attendees to hear directly from Kimley-Horn representatives, who provided valuable insights into the study’s progress. The floor was then opened for public comments and a Q&A session, giving residents the chance to share their visions for the district. Following the discussion, participants were invited to join breakout tables where they could provide more detailed feedback on the future of the PADD.
The input gathered from this workshop will play a key role in updating Lake Park’s land use policies and development regulations to better align with the community’s needs and goals.
Thank you to everyone who attended and shared their thoughts on shaping the future of the Town’s downtown district!
