Hear something, say something - Noise Complaints

How to Make a Noise Complaint:

On January 20, 2016, the Town of Lake Park adopted Ordinance 01-2016, commonly referred to as the “Noise Ordinance”, which was included in the Town’s Code of Ordinances as Chapter 10 Article VI.  The following is a link to this section of the Town Code.  https://www.municode.com/library/fl/lake_park/codes/code_of_ordinances/262053?nodeId=SPAGEOR_CH10EN_ARTIVNOCO

The purpose of this Ordinance is to provide for the peaceful enjoyment of the properties, businesses and residences of the Town by adopting appropriate regulations to regulate noise throughout the Town in order to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of the public.

In order for this Noise Ordinance to work, the Town needs your help

If you hear loud music or a similar noise disturbance in a Town public park, public right-of-way or coming from private property, contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) District 10 Dispatch at 561-688-3466 or 561-688-3400 at the time that the noise disturbance is occurring so that PBSO can send a deputy to respond in “real time”.  In order for PBSO to take action, there must be a complaint called in by a complainant (i.e., Town resident, business owner, or visitor).  The complainant cannot be a PBSO deputy or a Town Code Compliance Officer. You can call in a noise complaint and remain anonymous

From Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm, except holidays, complaints can also be called in to Code Compliance at (561) 881-3321 – please be sure to speak to a LIVE person since these complaints need to be addressed in “real time”.  Again, you can remain anonymous.

Remember –  hear something, say something
by calling PBSO or Code Compliance as soon as possible.
